To address some of Valria’s questions about my last post….

“But but but, what about HDDG? I mean if “Aaron” was a poor replacement and you couldn’t commit to him with thoughts of HDDG on your mind at all times….

What if NG brags to HDDG about a date with you, If he is a younger version of HDDG he may not keep his mouth shut.

Is it worth risking HDDG to date NG? What if/when NG finds out about this blog will he feel like a consolation prize and then you will be without any DDG’s?

Yes, all valid points….but…do I stop dating while I pine away for HDDG?  There’s something about him that is so intimidating to me….I can barely  say his name w/o blushing.  On the other hand, NG is very easy to talk to, joke around with, etc.  He’s handsome, funny, sexy, makes a mean coffee… LOL   I can see where it may be weird to date one, with the intention of possibly scoring a date with the other.  And what if they do talk about it?  But but but, NG is so cute!  Ugh.

Now, I’ve been given independent advice about this issue through private emails from faithful readers.   I’ve heard both sides of the argument.  I would like to open this up for a few more comments….what do you all think?

BTW-date with NG for Thursday night has been postponed b/c CoffeeGirl has the flu….

Big Clues #9 & #10

Wow, so I’m behind in my clues…. YIKES!

Here’s a couple to get the ball rolling again…. HDDG’s Dunkin Donuts is on the main street in my town…4 lanes, many businesses, lots of crosswalks….

And….There is no Home Depot in my town.

A Whole New Dynamic

So, I drink coffee now.  Well, that may not be entirely true…coffee purists would say I drink a ‘designer coffee beverage’.  A Caramel Iced Latte (complete with whipped cream!  YUM).

These last couple weeks I’ve been so busy with work (busier than I ever thought possible, but in a good way), and I think my personality is actually changing.   I’ve thought long and hard about it…It’s a combination of Pride (from working hard), Energy (from all the caffeine my body’s not used to), Determination (since I haven’t had good sex in a looong time), and Confidence (actually built from writing this blog….does that seem weird?).

So what does Pride, Energy, Determination and Confidence buy a smart, good-looking woman….why it gets her a date with NG!   (Who, for those who may not remember, is a very handsome, sexy, younger-than-HDDG guy.)  Score ONE for CoffeeGirl!

Back in Full Force!

Hello FMD Nation!!!

It’s been quite a while since last post, I know!  CoffeeGirl has had a very busy couple of weeks at work.  Good news is….my career is advancing nicely!  So I’ll be able to afford more Dunkin’ Donuts trips!  Now here’s the interesting thing…last week I went for 3 days with no sleep (gotta meet deadlines, ya know?), and I started going in to DD to get coffee.  Remember, I don’t drink coffee?  WELL, now I do!  At first, the caffeine just sent me bouncing off walls…now I kinda like it.  I’m wondering if I’ve become addicted to it, or if maybe I just like the taste (always knew I liked the taste of coffee….ohhhh coffee ice cream…YUM!).  Anyway, my regular beverage has now been replaced with Iced Lattes.  I’m really getting used to the extra energy!!

Okay, so I owe you a clue (or two)….. I’ll get right on that.  Also in the next few days, I’ll post some of my stories from last week…it’s amazing what lack of sleep does to a person’s judgment!
