*My* Dreamguy, HDDG!

Wow, wow, wow. I’m so crazy about the hot guy at my local Dunkin Donuts. I call him Hot Dunkin Donuts Guy, or HDDG (in honor of “Scrubs” TCW). He is so fine, and I just can’t keep my emotions pent-up any longer. I have to tell someone.

See the problem is that I don’t know him, or anything about him. I’ve only seen him three times. The first was last December. I stood in a very long line and had about 20 minutes to watch him behind the counter. He is sooooo sexy. I’m guessing that he is in his mid-twenties (but I’m really bad with age; he could be 19, or maybe he’s 29). Anyway, I’ve thought about him for months. Back in Dec, I lived about an hour from that DD. But now I’ve moved (for work related reasons) and I live ONE BLOCK AWAY. Walking-distance! I went in last Tuesday, and he was there. I almost melted! Then, I went in again today to get a quick-fix of HDDG. Now I am so infatuated, I just can’t get him out of my mind. I feel like a total schoolgirl. I’m in my mid to (ahem) late 20’s and I have a crush! I haven’t had a crush-from-afar like this since I was in high school. What do I do? I’m too embarrassed to tell any of my friends…

I’m on a quest to find out as much as possible about him. First order of business is to find out if he’s married (oh, God, please no). I don’t want to tell the world which of the 37 DD-inhabitant states I’m in ( I don’t want any other fine lassie out there getting to him first!). I’m giving myself 20 weeks from today (Oct 31st, Halloween) to work up the courage to actually talk to him (and maybe ask him out–so BOLD). To keep it interesting for all the readers out there, I’ll slowly narrow the possibilities of which of the 5,000 DD he’s at, and maybe even give a prize to anyone who figures it out early. It’ll be my outlet and a virtual scavenger hunt. How fun! I’ll pepper my posts with subtle hints from time-to-time (so read often). And ever Friday, I’ll give a big hint.
